Pride in your company's products or services is an admirable trait, and we certainly wouldn't discourage anyone who felt that way.

But the problem is that everyone feels that way, and they aren't shy about proclaiming the superiority of their businesses to the world.

If you're just one more voice in this chorus of self-congratulatory white noise, it should come as no surprise when you are ignored.

A more credible way to promote your company is through third-party endorsements from industry leaders and satisfied customers.

It's just human nature...one positive comment from an external source carries more weight than ten that come from the company itself.
